Senior StaffMichael A. Rashid is the President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of AmeriHealth Caritas. Mr. Rashid has been an integral part of AmeriHealth Caritas' success, serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for 15 years before assuming the role of CEO in January 2010. Eric J. Berman, DO, MS, is the Regional Chief Medical Officer, Northern Division, for AmeriHealth Caritas' Medicaid managed care business, which includes Keystone Mercy Health Plan in Philadelphia, AmeriHealth Mercy Health Plan, in Harrisburg, and MDwise Hoosier Alliance in Indiana. Christopher Drumm is Senior Vice President for Government and External Affairs. In this capacity he is responsible for the organization's interactions with government nationally. Jay Feldstein, DO, is President of the Pennsylvania Managed Care Plans, which includes Keystone Mercy Health Plan, the largest Medicaid managed care plan in the greater Philadelphia area. In this role, he oversees the company's marketing, provider network management, medical management, government relations, and financial operations. As Executive Director of the Keystone Mercy Health Plan, Russell Gianforcaro is responsible for the strategic direction, growth and leadership of Keystone Mercy Health Plan, including the daily operations of Medical Affairs, Network Operations, Information Services, Quality, Marketing, Regulatory and Legislative Affairs. William C. Morsell, MBA, is Senior Vice President of Provider Network Management. Mr. Morsell is responsible for the oversight and support of the physician, hospital and ancillary service provider networks. In addition, he is charged, along with Keystone Mercy's Chief Medical Officer, with the creation and implementation of the company's medical/provider strategy, which includes developing stronger relationships with participating providers. Maria Pajil Battle is Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and Marketing for Keystone Mercy Health Plan. In this role, Ms. Battle oversees all community affairs and marketing activities. She works closely with senior management to design, implement and oversee key marketing, membership and health promotion strategies and initiatives.
